I had a torch and a spray with water with me, to take some flower photos for my vlog - something I usually don't do, it was for my vlog only. It was just a fun day out in the woods to relax and to get energy after a hard week, I didn't expect to take a photograph I would give 5 stars afterwards.

Before I used tourch and water, I took test shots with the dry flower, with poor light only, just to build up a composition - but with lots of love. As I checked my photographs afterwards in Lightroom, I was blown away by this one.

No artificial light, no waterdrops - just the flower, isolated from the soft woodland ground - in pastel colours and harmony. I love the composition, as the balance is given through asymmetry between the flower and its angle.

The true beauties out in the nature are as they are, there is no need for manipulation.
