I got lots of messages this winter - many disappointments for photographers because of the difficulty to photograph landscapes through the unusual weather this winter. And it was difficult. The snow was missing, the landscapes looked flat and bleak in the middle of Europe. And I thought, what about making the weather the subject itself? I saw in the weather maps, that there were fantastic chances of getting a red sky. So I went out to look for a nice composition and finally got this photograph.
