Already the day before I knew through the weather maps, that I had a little chance to get a dramatic cloudy sky with lots of reds in it, although the common weather forecasts predicted clear blue sky. The clouds had just to disappear later than predicted and I thought that were realistic, because wind and humidity in the middle air layer spoke for that. The only problem was a little field of low level clouds in the north west, which blocked the most direct sunlight. but I waited on location for around 2 hours. Finally just a few beams went through onto the clouds, for perhaps a half of a minute - and I got out this image. Important Notice: |
