This is not a scene I had usually photographed, to be honest. But when I was in this woodland, I got attracted by the way how the light interacted with the landscape. A part of the foliage started to glow, a part was more in the shadow, the clearing got illuminated, whilst the darker conifer trees at the left side were contrasting, as well as the mist in the distance. It is amazing how light can change everything.
