The light always broke through the clouds and painted some awesome patches into the landscape. What I really like here is this nice contrast between the illuminated trees in the center of the image and those around, which are nearly not to spot due to the missing light. It was cold, and windy, after a long hike I felt tired and hungry. To reflect these emotions into my composition I decided to bring it a tiny bit out of balance by cutting the lake at the rightern side, which adds to the contrast between that cold, snow-covered peak and the warmth of the glowing trees, which reflect this residue warmth inside me, an unerasable fire - my love to this amazing landscape.
