First I hoped for light spots again, but finally, I realized that this composition works even better without. I spotted this awesome little brook already when I arrived at this spot, but I struggled to find a composition there.

My mistake was, that I tried to see a story with this amazing landscape - the grasses, the brook, the lake, the peaks, and light spots, which continuously appeared. Only when they disappeared a bit later, I found a composition with those characters and it tells a totally different story.

In reality it was the last day before winter arrived up there, snowfall was predicted for the evening, even down to the valley. The grasses, the last water running down before it gets frozen, all this coldness back there in the distance - the day before winter up in the mountains.
