Due to an injury at my knee I was totally limited in my possibilities, as I can't walk for more than just a few minutes. Fortunately, I found this nice place that gave me the option for two simple compositions. This one here is defined by these sober colors, given through a bit of supporting haze in the air, gently contrasting to each other - and these subtle ripples in the water, which are repeated by the pattern in the soft clouds. On location I had been happy about some more direct light from the left, to get more plasticity into the scene, which was not possible because of blocking clouds, but when I returned home I realized, that it reflects quite my emotions, given through my temporary limitations - not to go where I would like for doing that what I love so much - landscape photography. These are "sober reflections" for me.
