No, this image was not taken in Australia and to make it even more confusing: it was taken in Austria. You know, the one in Europe. And although it looks like a nice autumn scene, it was taken in spring, which was possible because the red beech looses its foliage short before the new leaves come out. Some days before I took this shot, a photographer from Australia told me that autumn would already start to kick in in his area, which drove me to take this shot. And also when I meant that just as a joke in the beginning: in the end I really decided on the image title "Australian Spring".
