I got fascinated by this peak already when I was a little boy, especially as I enjoyed countless hikes in the area behind it. The difficulty of photographing it is to get depth and isolation into the image, so that the elements get definition. Here the illuminated top of the peak helped a lot, but also the snow coverage in the mountains as well as in the foreground helped massively to get this composition to work in the end.
