With the knowledge of getting gappy clouds that afternoon, I hiked up a mountain to photograph an old castle ruin. Exactly in that moment when I arrived at the vantage point, the clouds opened and illuminated the fields and even the castle for me, which led to these enchanting patterns in the landscape. I'm also in love with that gap between the mountain and the clouds, as it supports the story of gaps. And even that hill in the foreground combined with that bank of clouds turned out like a kind of gap we are looking through, into that nice illuminated landscape.
