Croatia is so multifaceted. I spent the day with my family there, as my son discovered these amazing cliffs. We explored the whole range and searched for a working composition and finally I decided for this one. After the sun was set, we went home quickly, because a strong thunderstorm was awaited. As straight after dinner the first lightnings were to see in the distance and the rain began to fall, my son said bashfully to me, that he had forgotten his wallet on the ground of the cliff - with all his cards and his driving license. Oh yes, this is exactly what you want to hear after a fantastic Croatian dinner :) There was not all too much time to ponder what to do - so we drove back immediately, hopefully to be faster than the first bigger waves. We had to run over the whole cliff in the dark with our torches, flashes went down around us. Finally down there we had to recognize, that his wallet wasn't there. Later at home he found it in an usually unused outside pocket of his camera bag. Definitely a never forgetting adventure. This photograph gets a special place in our living room ;) |
